but the last time a Dipset rapper had anything resembling a bit of a buzz in the tri-state was Cam in summer 2010 with Vado though. funnily enough, that was the time Jim decided to squash the beef was it not ? then they put out Salute.

to use a phrase Cam is fond of, at the end of the day..
as much as Cam casts them away and treats them like shyt if he welcomes them back they all come around.

it is nice to hear Jim say how close the two have gotten again.

Cam says his new project coming out next month and we know that shyt won't be anywhere as good as Jim's.

If anything this proves how important work ethic is. Cam is way more naturally talented as a rapper but Jim worked harder.

Jim took what little musical talent he had and opportunity he was presented and RAN with it. Here he is nearly 20 years later thriving when ppl with more skill and clout than him fell off. Jim's mentality is different. He said he was in the studios with the engineers asking them how the shyt worked. Trying to direct his own and Dipset vids. Etc

Don’t know why y’all constantly feel the need to compare the two. There’s a time for everything- This is Jim’s moment. Without Cam, there would be no Jim and Jim wouldn’t even be in this position. Jim wasn’t contemplating being a rapper, so all this “comparative analysis” is a non issue. Jim and Cam don’t view it as a competition, why should we? I have a musical appreciation for both. But Cam is legacy and started the movement. Jim just happens to be in his prime right now-late bloomer. Cam has history and consistency in his earlier projects- respect is due.

That’s the exact word for this - Resurgence. Ive been rocking with Jim since he started branching out with the M.O.B., his sound matured and of course, he’s not going to rap about the same content. Progression. This album was dope-
