Ever since Batman Begins came out in 2005, people have been steadily arguing about whether or not Christian Bale's gravelly, raspy batman voice is good, bad, or just silly. Some people like it and appreciate the fact that it makes him sound different than he does as Bruce Wayne. Other people think it's ridiculous.

So where you stand? Do you think he did a good Batman voice? And awful one? How would you do the Batman voice if it was up to you?

Personally I have no issues with the voice, though I can kind of understand why someone might not like it.

He plays a good Bruce Wayne but that's it

That shyt was the worst thing I've heard in my life and after Begins it bordered on parody.

He should have done it the way voice actor did it. His real voice as batman and a higher pitched voice as Bruce Wayne.

I didn't even notice it until I read about it on the innanets.

Now, every time I watch it, I can't help but notice how horrible it is.

I'm fine with it. Bruce Wayne always changed his voice in Batman mode. Since it's the Nolan batmans, the grizzly/raspy voice was a more realistic take than the making his voice deeper IMO.

Only had a problem with it at the end of the second when he was getting his monologue on

Wasn't he disguising his voice though? It didn't bother me as much as say a guy taking off his glasses and parting his hair a different way.

I don't know why they just didn't hire somebody to the do the batman voice over and just overdub pale, shyt they gotta redo all the voices in post production anyway
In Begins the voice wasn't that bad to me, except at the end when he said "it's who I am underneath but what I do that defines me" it just sounded weird, but when he was interrogating the crooked cop and delivered the "Swear to me" line pretty well in the voice without sounding ridiculous
Dark Knight Rise tho, shyt was terrible all the way through, Dark Knight was ok really bad at the monologue like somebody else mentioned
