Just imagine what his numbers would be if coaches put the same emphasis on shooting threes back in his day as they do now. :whoo:

Bird could of gotten off in this day of age.

I point to "non athletic" white guys such as Chandler Parsons and Mike Dunleavy to be getting there's (Dunleavy a few years ago) and they have 1/10 of the skills Bird had.

if Dirk can be a hall of famer 1st ballot, surely Bird can had he played in this day and age.

Look at Bird's last season in the league and he was playing w/a shytty back :whoo:

30 times in 55 games where Larry went over 40 points he had double digit rebounds

14 times in 129 games where Kobe went over 40 points he had double digit rebounds

22 of those 55 games by Larry he had 7 or more assists

Only 17 of those 129 games Kobe had 7 or more assists

thats why kobe as a scorer/winner >>> bird/bron

why pass the ball more when hisd style of play has won 4 more rings than bron and 2 more than bird.,. why would he emulate birds or brons game whn its proven its not as succesful

dude shyts on beans numbers
Beans numbers are heavily affected by him being a small teenager for 3 years in the league. IF we only look at 2000-2012 it would probably be like 27-5-5
Which would still be far behind 30-6-5 from who else

What do you mean by Kobe is more of a "winner" than Bird? What does that mean, titles?

I don't view it as a blowout in Bean's favor. Bird has 3, Kobe has 5. Bird was the #1 option on his three title teams while Kobe was the #1 option on 2 of his 5 title teams. Bird played 13 seasons and was injured for a good chunk of it (nobody's fault, injuries happen of course). This is of course Kobe's 17th year in the league and to his credit he's stayed relatively healthy all things considering. Kobe is definitely durable.
