Between 96 and 98 I was untouchable in Mario Kart 64. In a race with a no shortcut rule, I was unbeatable. Not cause I was the best battler, naww I was just okay at battle. Cause I was a racer who could handle Toad like non other.

I lost only GP Tourny... in a living room full of people vs. one of my classmates cousins. The match was hyped up as hell cause we went to 2 different schools and our hype was ridiculous in the game. But he had been the only person ever to beat me at that time.


Fast forward to present day. I havnt played Mario Kart 64 in 10 years. But riding the Kart is like riding a bike, you never forget. My roommate had been talking trash for a few weeks since we took the 64 outta his storage. So last night we played. (I didn't know he had consistently played up until a year ago with his kid)

The controller didnt feel as good in my hand as it used to, but I was the man back in the day, it wouldnt matter to me. He claims to be as well, said he ran in a few tournys and was gonna play in the World Championship but couldnt afford to go

To sum it up, brehs, we ran all 4 GP's. My highest finish in the end was 1 3rd place in the Special Cup, our last GP. He came in 1st 3 of the cups and 2nd once. It was humiliating. We had a house full of people and he was talking mad shyt. I was all over the place...I couldnt even beat the cheating ass computer. My handles was

24 hours later im still hurting. Mario Kart at my prime, was the best game I've ever been good at and this nikka humiliated me.

my worst moment came in madden 99.

playoffs. i used to be nice so i played on all madden.

Jets vs Raiders for the AFC Championship game.

It was close all game. back and forth like a muthafukka. however, it was a summertime afternoon. My baby brother had just turned 5 at the time and he was begging me to take him to the park. he would not take "after this game" for an answer. he cried and cried and threw a tantrum.

back to the game, 4th quarter, im down by 6. 1 minute and about 17 seconds left on the clock. i have to make a 75 yard drive to score.

i fail to get a 1st down on the first 3 downs, plus i only had 2 timeouts and burned them both.

4th and 8. hail mary time.

Played final fantasy X religiously....acquired all the legendary weapons and was extremely close to maxing all of my characters out. All side missions had been completed

My little cousin came by when I wasn't home and took my memory card and didn't remember what he did with it.

I pressed him like a fukin detective from First 48... but he was about that G code and I knew if I put the beats on him he'd just and go tell.

I had come to far to start over...too much time invested. Looking at that title screen with no recent profile to load had me like

I had to re-play FFVII about 4 times because of corrupted memory card saves.


A more serious note, a gaming moment almost made me murder my cat.

I was running a 15 man Upper Black Rock Spire run in the early days of World of Warcraft. I was a shaman so I was looking to get my Pauldrons of Elements.

I had the full set except the shoulder piece.. a homey was tryna to look like this

Anyway, we get to the boss that drops these shoulder pieces and after doing this dungeon about 50 times trying to get them they finally drop.

When loot drops in WoW the whole party can either click on "need" or "greed" and then the game will do a dice roll to determine who gets the item. I was the only shaman in the group so I expected to get it. I was insanely excited they finally dropped.

However, life had other plans.

We had a hunter in our group who had fully EPIC gear from the hardest 40-man dungeon in the game. He was the only other class who could use mail armor in the group.

Needless to say, this fakkit clicks on "need" for the shoulder piece I need and this fakkit wins the roll.

He can't sell it, he can't trade it, there was literally no reason for him to take it, but he did it anyway.

I was immediately insanely infuriated. Slamming my keyboard against the wall in my room type mad. Right after I smash my keyboard to bits I'm just sitting in my computer chair contemplating my loss I just took.

While in this quiet contemplative moment

runs up to my leg and bites it has hard as he possibly can. I kick him off my leg into the side of my bed, pick him up by the back of his neck and was about to choke the fukking live out of him (no joke, I was this mad). The angel on my shoulder had to be like

I came to my senses and just tossed that little cute fakkit has hard as I could across the room into a wall. Blood just streaming down my leg like the tears streaming down my eyes

Worse public humilation came for me as a youngin
We had a Sega Saturn but could only play on the weekends so every weekend we would get all our friends over and play fighting games none stop, We Xmen COTA and I used to run thangs. I mained Cyclops and was a beast on the sticks. We used to have tourneys every weekend and I won like 10 but then my brother got tired of me always winning with cyclops and decided to "beat me off the character" basically we had a system in place where we would have a playoff (best of 7) and the loser couldn't use the character anymore. It was much hyped and to make a long story short I lost and I cried it was terrible I was like 10-11 at the time and my brother took away the only thing I ever loved. I never won a tournament after that, we moved on to Marvel Super heroes (japanese import) and another humilation took place, I mained Spider man and my same older brother mained Captain America but he dabbled in Hulk from time to time. Anyway after a few months it came up that I had never beaten Hulk as Spider man, and to this day I never have, I stay getting whooped every.single.time. it's disgusting

goledeneye....i probably said this before, but i was the nicest outta all my friends around 97/98 when it came out....then i played a tourny with an older group(guys i worked with at my first job, most were 5-8 years older than i was), after being undefeated amongst friends for over a year, i got my ass kicked by them older dudes. they had all sorts of rules and shyt, plus we had 4 tvs going of bond games....i miss those days

Played Madden 93 with my homeboy on Genesis. He was KILLING me. Like on some every two plays he was scoring and shyt. But that wasn't the problem. I would pick a play and Madden's old bytch ASS would say after the play was blown up.."That's not the play I would have picked". "What is he doing!?!?.Or some other condescending bullshyt. So since then...I have not willingly played a Madden game since. fukk Madden.....

(FYI)..My boys made me play three years ago at a house party....And I lost by at least 70 points...Mothafukkas thought that shyt was sooooo funny because I pulled an OG move and unplugged the Xbox near the middle of the fourth quarter after the game made me throw an interception...fukk THAT GAME!!!
