What should I start with? I have too many ideas in my head

  1. Well, not to start any shyt. But how black women should have handled that Tulsa Nail Salon situation would probably be a good place to start. At least from a legal perspective.
  2. Maybe purchasing real estate might be another topic.
  3. Police stops and complaints might be another, especially when dealing with children interacting with the legal system.

The Case of Cyntoia Brown- sentenced to murder at 16 years old for killing a white man in self defense

Cyntoia Brown, sentenced at 16 to life in prison, pleads for mercy
Brown, now 30, was sentenced to life in prison for murder when she was 16, with no chance for parole until she serves 51 years. Her case has become a national rallying point for activists trying to reform the criminal justice system and raise awareness about the toll of human trafficking.

Brown will get another opportunity to make her case for leniency this week. A U.S. federal appeals court in Cincinnati has agreed to hear oral arguments about whether her sentence is fair. Her attorneys are expected to point to recent Supreme Court rulings declaring mandatory life sentences for minors without the possibility of parole as being unconstitutional.

Background:
-she claims that she was a victim of human trafficking and killer her attacker, in self defense
-The incident occurred when she was 16 years old
-abandoned by her parents
-Why was this not ruled as self defense; why are children being judged according to the same standards as adults?

As it stands now, she will be 69 by the time she's eligible for parole. Her supporters say that is much too long.
_____________
Her story inspired a documentary film, “Me Facing Life: Cyntoia’s Story,” which attracted worldwide attention. It reveals and explores the physical and emotional abuse Brown endured throughout her life that she and her supporters believe eventually led her to commit murder. Much of the film is Brown telling her story in her own words.

16-year-old Cyntoia Brown, who was forced into a life of prostitution and feared for her safety, was arrested in 2004 for the murder of a 43-year-old man. She was tried in adult court and sentenced to life. Filmmaker Dan Birman followed her case from the Nashville trial to her incarceration at TN Prison for Women. Part of a 7-part series Sentencing Children, produced by Birman and Independent Lens

A Villa Straylight.
what is the recourse for the descendants of Black people whose ancestors in recent history were profited from but never gave them any recompense?
