Doesn't need to be a defensive specialist, he just needs to not be a street cone. Decent defense can lead to more scoring opportunities.
4 on 5 every time the opponent has the ball, 3 on 5 if you throw Russ in the mix. Their body language just has to have the same level of effort on defense as it does on offense.
EFFORT is a main ingredient in defense. The effort is there offensively they just can't score.
Team is trash on both ends, but when compared to 2019 they fell off harder on defense than they did on offense.
How are Kevin Love's drop in numbers a fault of LeBron when they stayed the same/got worse after he left?
They're 13th in raw PPG, their ORTG is 25th. Their DRTG is 14th.
If they can't score then asking their far and away best scorer to become a souped up Iggy isn't the answer. If AD could stay on the court, maybe.
