I keep hearing when he lose his hops he will be a scrub.....i just dont understand how you can do what he do with no skill....if thats the case gerald green should be the best in the NBA...correct?

anyone who says he has no skill is a fukking moron. Dwight Howard has no skill. Lebron has a fukk-ton of skill.

Not true. It takes skill, practice, and dedication to be as big a bytch as Dwight.
It was said more so early on in his career where his jumper was completely broken. But no one ever denied that he had skill as a playmaker and finishing around the rim. The question was always what would happen when he could no longer blow by everybody to even get to the rim. But even when he gets old, his pass ability will make him dangerous out of the post if he works on that like he has been.

Its his superhuman athleticism and his size. Some have hard time seeing pass that. The rawness of his scoring early in his career, lead some to incorrectly view him as lacking in skill.
Most are used to super athletic wings with suspect jumpers but 'Bron's handle was different....he didn't have much shake n bake in his game. No crossovers or hesitation dribbles. So he looked kinda awkward "scoring". But thats it really, the skill of perimeter players are almost solely base on how they score. Its like the prettier the footwork, the more skilled you are.
Outside of transition, you'll see his freak athleticism on D more than on offense these days

It's an excuse LeBron haters came up with because it is now undeniable that he is the best player in the league. He's been the best for a while IMO, but it only became unequivocal in the last couple of years. They went from: "The best player in the league and doesn't have a ring?"

I personally think he lacks finesse...something Jordan, Kobe, and Iverson had. It's an unteachable, untrainable talent. He basically succeeds on his freakish speed, size and jumping ability all rolled into one. But to his credit he has disciplined himself and honed those talents for as much as they are worth. But imo he simply lacks "touch."
