wow, i didn't know anything about this card other than the two rematches. looks pretty dope. i like that siver/gamburyan match-up.

as far as weidman-silva goes...i have no idea, man. i think it's safe to assume that silva will be all business in comparison to last fight and he'll come out to prove something, which is a scary thought. but even so, weidman is just fukking good. before the ko, he was handling anderson on the feet...he had good distance and timing and he was tagging him. plus he showed that he not only could take him down but he could be a threat on the mat...and he's a guy that just keeps getting better every fight.

that said, it's weird...even if weidman wins again, which he's totally capable of doing, it'd still kind of feel like an upset.

i really don't know. gun to my head, i'd go with silva just because i think it'd be awesome to see him go ham and avenge the loss.

I'm praying for Silva but he's old and Weidman is still a bad matchup for him. Picking Silva but I'm not confident about the pick...

Its time for him to go, let someone else shine. Plus Im sick of him always goofing off in fights. GSP finally left now its his turn.

Well he threw the first fight and i doubt he'll do that twice but who knows. Maybe age has caught up to him. He is pushing 40.

How Damien Maia went the distance with Weidman and Silva gets ko'd is mind boggling to friends though. Theres no way he should get crushed like that again.

I am so glad weidman didnt become a star after that fight. What the fukk was up with the cheesy american flag bs.It had nothing to do with the fight and just came off corny.I hope anderson kills him and makes weidman look like serra. In say that silva has always looked strange against much younger opponents. Was it maia, was it cote or hell even leites dude just seemed snake bit :ld:

:wow:

I'd hate to have any doubt in the greatest and I want Silva to KO Weidman in the first...but something in my gut tells me that it'll be Weidman by a hard split if he doesn't finish him. I don't know...

Clowning & taunting is Silva's style and I understand that, but part of me watched the last fight and felt that some of the clowning was coming out of frustration. I don't think Silva believes he can bait & walk through Weidman the way he does most fighters. Kid's younger than Chael with some of the same skills, more toughness, and has a lot more power. He's undefeated. We're not sure what his weakness is. :ld:

Fluke or not, Weidman's been in the cage with Anderson, taken shots and survived without ever being in danger. I don't think he can be baited. He'll definitely be more confident coming into this fight than any of Anderson's past opponents in the UFC. If this gets into championship rounds, Weidman gets the W.

Silva needs to finish him in spectacular fashion.

I think Weidman wont get frustrated like he did in the last fight and stick to the gameplan. He will take Silva down and smash him for the decision. I don't believe Silva has the fire in him. Plus, as much as it pains me to say, I want Silva to lose. The MW division just got loaded these past few months and it doesn't need to be bogged down with Silva's BS
