so i got a couple of tracks i'm working on and i'm thinking i wanna put together a nice bridge for them just to break up the monotony a bit but i'm having some trouble coming up with something. now i know you can introduce new sounds and new rhythms and whatnot but i'm looking to change keys and that's where i'm struggling - never been good at that.
so maybe some of you guys that are more knowledgeable on music theory can help me out a bit. they're house-ish, electronica type of beats, so they're pretty simple and repetitive:
for the 1st track, the main chord progression is C#m - G# - E - D#m
the 2nd is Am - F - Em
i dunno if i wanna switch keys and come back to the original progressions or just stay in the new key altogether...but if someone has some tips or can school me on the general idea of how to approach this, it'd be great.
