Got dayum at that Akademik beat. Prolly my favorite beat out of all the ones I've heard so far. shyt was smooth, dope sample, nice melody, created a great vibe. shyt was real nice.

Welch's beat was cool, but it sounded a lil choppy and just didn't flow smooth enough. It was almost there though cuz I like the overall vibe it had. shyt was hard and created a good vibe just didn't seem like it was arranged all that good to me.

Akademik got this one to me.

welch, your shyt was good too but you gotta be clean with the samples.

i can't stress this enough to you guys that love to chop shyt up. make clean cuts, brehs. and play around with the attack/release to smooth shyt out when arranging your chops. i've heard a lot of stuff so far in this tourney that sound real sloppy in that regard. it takes away from your beats.
