last night prior to the F&F showing...20 mins of commercial were shown

i was like ... 20 mins of stupid nonsense ads...what's worse is that they are so inconsistent. One movie has 1 or 2 commercial before the movie, while others have more. But this was the first time they showed 20 minutes of non stop ads.

There really is no reason to come to movies on time. I rather miss the first 5 minutes of the movie than be subjected to 20 mins of ads ever again.

Movie was supposed to start at 8:00 PM...after the ads and previews...movie started 8:25 movie...



Advise brehs: buy tickets ahead of time...go 15 minutes after showing time. at the previews and at the ads. I can watch the previews at home with no ads.

I saw it yesterday at 11:15 am in Newark. The previews started at 11:10 and the movie started at 11:17.

I've never seen commercials? Usually when i got to the theater, Say if the movie starts at 8..they'll play local ads up to 8, then after 8, they'll show 2 or 3 trailers.

no breh...it wasn't preview...it was 20 minutes of non stop ads...back to back to back ... i think there were like 7 ads shown.

The movie showing was at 8:00 pm...there was only 2 or 3 preview, and they were fairly short.

This was the first time this has happened. Like I said usually there are 2 to 3 ads but no more than 5 minutes long...Last night was a different animal. The whole theatre was getting restless.

For awhile now, at least here, the normal has been about 25 min from start time, I like previews, but depending on the movie it can be brutal to sit through 7-8 garbage trailers. Esp. multiple times in a 2 month period or whatever.

All that 10 min or preview is over, it's about double now.

i was angry as fukk too...if it wasn't for the fact that i really wanted to watch the movie...i would have gone and bytched at the manager and demanded a refund...

Yea commercials at the movies need to stop now, I aint go to the movies to see commercials. whats worse is theaters like reagal who insist on promoting there brand in the commercials, like I give a damn which brand of theater I go to..
