Last time posting the directions because I'm still getting the dumbest messages from people...
Accepted Tracks: Any track over one of the beats I sent out that is properly labeled giving the producer credit or at the very least, telling me who did the beat. The producers just donate tracks to not get any credit.
Rappers: Just PM me if you want the beats. All I need is one sample of work in the PM. No you can't submit a track you did with your crew, no you can't submit a track with a random beat. If it isn't one of the producers I'm dealing with in this project, who donated beats for it, then don't bother. I've got more than enough rappers already and I have no problem just feeding beats to the group of rappers I got trust in too to get this done...
Producers: It is getting pretty obvious that you guys have your shyt together, are professional about what you do, and have a ton of talent. No complaints, and just submit beats to thecolimixtape@gmail.com Beats are being accepted up until the Oct. 2, 2012 deadline. I'm not accepting beats from producers who didn't e-mail anything because I wanted to give all rappers a fair chance at going over diff beats and set up a few contests in doing so...
The deadline is October 2, 2012 for any submitted songs unless I let you know any differently. Nothing will be accepted past that date.
Promotion: I'm having a couple radio stations check out the tape and a few different connects I have currently. There is also a large number of industry people lurking on this because I've been reached out by a few people via that e-mail, so there is going to be a lot of different ears hearing this. That is why I'm releasing it on Oct. 9th, to give myself a little bit of time to promote the finished product.
Community: I need 60-90 sec skits for the tape, I need a few more judges, I need some people to help promote...if you got an idea to help just PM me. Judges post here, anything else PM me.
