If the Knicks are ready to move on from Lee and THjr, then I trust they're hearing some good things about free agency. Kanter would be really hard to move, and honestly, considering he's an expiring, moving him shouldn't be a priority ( as cold as that sounds).

Best bet to move Tim and/or Courtney Lee would be with either the Kings or the Mavericks.

Tim, Mudiay and a second for Matthews/DSjr makes a lot of sense for both teams and seems realistic (From the perspective of both teams I'd make the deal).

Courtney Lee for Iman Shumpert works, and Tim for any two of Koufos/Randolph/Shumpert works too I think ( could even propose Tim and Lee for all three of them), with some sort of small asset coming back in return.

I could see the Knicks getting involved with Detroit and Orlando too, with trades centering around Terrence Ross and Ish Smith.

Moving Tim and Lee without taking on extra salary is gonna be hard, and it'll be even harder if the Knicks don't want to give up assets.

In the last 6 games Mudiay put up 23 turnovers and 17 assists, :picard:

while Frank put up 5 turnovers and 25 assists :whew:

Yup, the accountability when it comes to Mud is pretty much nonexistent :ld:

shyt has me both excited and at the same time shook as fukk what we might do at the deadline :merchant:

The advanced stat heads had a field day with the recent comparison of the two on Realgm.

Y'all ready for this

Over the last 4 games, Frank has averaged 5 ppg on 26% shooting, 25% from 3

The team's Ortg when he's on the floor over those games? 117.4. Our Ortg for the year is 105.5. Meaning that despite being one of the worst individual offensive players in the league, our offense has still flourished with him

Mudiay over those last 4 games? 18 ppg on 52% shooting, 23% from 3. 96.9 Ortg. So our offense has been 20 points worse over 100 possessions with Mudiay on the court vs Frank the last 4 games, despite Mudiay being leagues better individually

And that's not even taking into account the fact that Frank's worst Drtg during this stretch has been 107.7, which is Mudiay's best

Step further
[/QUOTE]

Granted this is fun with small samples, but it's always good to confirm short term eye tests. Frank has had 3 quality games in the last 4 and I think that's just off the uptick in aggression and having Mitch to help him when he gets beat. With Kanter whining and the THJ/Trier mini beef; it's good that we got some young guns to give us positivity.

I have a feeling DSJr has to be dealt before other pieces start moving. He's the most valuable piece that's clearly on the market imo. I would LOVE to get that THJ/Mudiay/Second deal off but I have a feeling teams are gonna start bidding for him (sidenote: I feel like he'd be the sneaky Miami comes out of no where to trade for a player type of guy).

I really like the Kings suggestion a lot, I'd love to see if that was the larger structure on the Kanter for Randolph rumors. Detroit's one I hadn't thought of, they're in a spot where they could use a bit more and if I'm not mistaken Perry is a Stanley Johnson fan. The other team I'd throw in is Indy. They just lost Oladipo while they were looking like threat (at least in the East). They're probably too smart to fall for Timmy, but you never know how a GM will respond when his team loses a key piece like that.
