nikka ...

It's not about Wall.

It's about abandoning the rebuild.

You're smarter than that.

---------

Actually, fukk that....it is a bit about Wall. Do you see his fukking contract?

Getting Wall at this stage of his career with that contract is like risking it all for Cherokee D'Ass in 2018.

I could give a fukk if she was the prototype in 2010, today, it isn't worth it

:scust::camby:

It’s also about keeping Porzingis and winning ASAP

The rebuild doesn’t need to take 5-10 years. I don’t think after Melo Knicks need to reset and start over

They have way too many young talented assests at PG/SG they’re clearly auditioning for trades

they need to strike while the iron is hot

If you notice, the team is being run more like a business now, not necessarily to win or make playoffs but to make moves so that they can win and make playoffs next year and contend

If they get Wall they can realistically do that this year especially if Porzingis is healthy and comes back

The east is so weak. Playoffs this year isn’t even that far fetched

Why do nikkas hate on Hardaway so much?

He’s a chucker. He shouldn’t be the number one option cause he’s too hot and cold and doesn’t seem to have the best IQ/decision making

He’s not bad but he’s like a poor mans Jamal Crawford or Nick Young coming off the bench type player

How is he a poor mans Jamal Crawford or Nick Young when he’s having a better statistical season than either of them have ever had?

Spread Love - The Player Way
Smart shot those %'s at Oklahoma State, we all knew he couldn't shoot he just has a knack for hitting clutch ones, going on hot streaks, and has great range. He could have better %'s if he didn't chuck so many of them.

It's not about stats, Smart and Rozier are better players. They aren't timid on the court and are more skilled and athletic than Ntlikina. Smart is a better defender and is a good playmaker in the P&R, he can run a second unit and just has a knack for huge plays (ie. drawing consecutive charges off full court pressure on James Harden last season to seal a game), he is a better ball handler and playmaker than Frank, he is a bigger body than Frank, he has better range than Frank. Frank still has a ways to go before he even reaches Smart's level.

Rozier barely played those first two seasons. But again son is fearless not timid like Ntlikina. He is a MUCH better ball handler, he can create his own shot in iso situations, he's one of the best rebounding guards in the league, he defends well.
I get what you're trying to say...but none of this is things you would have said 100 games into their careers and formulated a fleshed out a fully sound and structured opinion on if they didnt become what they are right now.
they were both highly inefficient players....and rozier didnt get much playing time BECAUSE of that.
Hell, He's grossly inefficient THIS season
since when the hell is terry rozier bigger than frank :mjlol:
he's faster, no chance in hell is he bigger, right now in 2018 :mjlol:
terry is 6'1 and 190 pounds.
frank has exhibited ability to do everything you need to do in the pick and roll, he's absolutely too gun-shy and timid.
people were calling out danny ainges ability to draft BECAUSE of them two but now they're absolutely amazing compared to frank in your eyes :snoop:
you're taking everything in a vacuum and omitting how they got to this point.

I said Smart was bigger than Ntlikina not Rozier, I did say both were more skilled and more athletic though.

Rozier didn't play that much because there were no minutes for him, the Celtics had Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Evan Turner, Marcus Smart it was a crowded rotation at the guard spots. I feel like it's disingeneous to compare numbers when those players were better and didn't display timidness. Frank's struggles go beyond numbers, it's the timidness on the offensive end, the inability to finish or shoot, even the things he does well such as run the P&R and defending he has severe flaws. He doesn't attack in the P&R looking for his offense to open things up, he can make the pocket pass with both hands and throw the overhead but he can telegraph passes and be predictable high TO% in those situations he hasn't shown the ability to hit the corner shooters in those situations yet, defending he's very good but his impact is limited he could be more of a playmaker on defense with those arms and his foul rate (4 per 36 minutes) just limits how much you can have him out there.

I'm just saying Rozier can defend, he's an elite rebounding guard (career 6.5 per 36 minutes), he can create for himself and is a strong ball handler who barely turns it over, he can penetrate and push the tempo with his speed. Smart has a knack for big plays, elite defender, draws charges, runs the second unit good at orchestrating P&R's, better handle than Frank, can play multiple positions, defends 1-4, inefficient shooter but isn't afraid to space the floor and has good range. They got dimensions to their games Frank hasn't showed.

They're gonna trade him. No need to expose him to injury/no need to get more bad tape on him. Would you buy a losing lottery ticket?

He’s gonna be part of that John Wall package?

Also I think trading him might be for his own good. I still think he can be a great player but playing in New York ain’t for everyone

You see Knox having his struggles
