We get John Wall and i swear to it after 24 years of being a Knicks fan im done

There would be nothing worse then the management teasing us, leading us to believe theyre finally doing things the right way...only to trade for Wall, who is still an all star calibre player but that could change any season now

I don’t believe the rumors for shyt, but if this happened, I’d join you.

The only thing keeping me invested is Knox and Mitchell.

Out of all the trash point guards Knicks have had over the years JOHN WALL is the one that’ll make Knicks fans jump ship? :scust:

Y’all must not have been around for the Raymond Felton era :hubie:

shut your stupid ass up
when raymond felt was last our point guard we had our best season in the last 20 years :dead:
it's about team composition, growth, and not handicapping yourself for years to come with a crippling ass contract like john walls.
john wall eventually making more than steph curry is disgusting.

:scust:look at the option and kicker :scust:

So you’re saying Raymond Felton on the Knicks is better than John Wall right now?

Maybe Melo being a top 3 player in the NBA and leading the league in scoring (or even JR Smith being 6th man of the year) had more to do with the Knicks success than Felton

You can’t convince me Felton even Jeremy Lin were elite point guards for the Knicks

John Wall is elite. He might not be Curry, Westbrook or Lillard but he’s the next best thing.

Meanwhile Knicks fans would love to have Kyrie or even Kemba cause they can shoot (the only thing they do better than Wall).

But Knicks have enough scorers and shooters now and especially when Porzingis returns They need someone who knows how to pass and play fast with their young core

That’s just my take. I like Wall as a PG (not his contract as much) and fit on the Knicks

You don’t have to agree :yeshrug:

reading is fundamental. there's so much wrong in this post idk where to start.
I said raymond felton was better than john wall? I said the last time we had him we were a playoff team so why use him as a point of reference for struggle :mjlol:
elite ass john wall with an allstar caliber running mate, and a decent supporting cast been underachieving the last several years in the weak east and is currently under 500.
:mjlol:
I can picture numerous other ways to spend 45 million dollars of our cap.....than to spend it on a player older than 30 whose game is reliant on athleticism.
not even counting for the kicker that will immediately evaporate cap space
again

:scust: paying buddy 130 million over 3 years after 30 :scust:

nikka ...

It's not about Wall.

It's about abandoning the rebuild.

You're smarter than that.

Actually, fukk that....it is a bit about Wall. Do you see his fukking contract?

Getting Wall at this stage of his career with that contract is like risking it all for Cherokee D'Ass in 2018.

I could give a fukk if she was the prototype in 2010, today, it isn't worth it

Imagine if the Knicks had the same team but replace KP w/ Beal.

Imagine looking at John Wall and saying, "Damn, if we could get a PG like Wall and pair him w/ Bradley Beal, we'd have the best backcourt in the East and we'd really be beasting"

Now look at the current Wizards...they have Wall & Beal and they are a fukking disappointment. Why would we want to leverage our youth for pieces from that failing product?

It's weird.

Co-sign ALLLLLLL of this. 38 million BEFORE the 15% trade kicker hits and that's for 2019; he's signed through 2023! Wall is a great player, but at 40+ million for so long and with questions about his effort and him beefing with other stars on his own team...I wouldn't touch that contract with a ten foot pole. We've got the cap space and the youth and the picks and the CULTURE to be patient a bit longer while we continue to load up. At some point we can take that sort of swing that Philly just did, but we're not at that depth yet. We're getting there but we can't skip steps. Patience is the motto.

Edit: Just to throw it in, a win now push like this probably means super maxing KP at 27 with Wall jumping to 44 starting. The projected cap I've seen is 108 and you'd have 71 million of that committed to two players after moving assets for Wall.

Ntilikina is not the end all be all as he'll be average at best, it's Dotson I'm more concerned of. I would rather if they were to risk it, trade Timmy and Frank for Wall for 1 year, keeping the 2020 pick and Dotson and saving cap space.

That's not how shyt works, dumbass. He's got four years left at over $170 million plus a 15% trade kicker.

2019-20 -$43.93 million
2020-21: $47.38 million
2021-22: $50.94 million
2022-23: $54.39 million

And you have non-NY Knick fans in here co-signing this atrocity. Feels like Melo 2.0 all over again. :scust:
