Breh, I feel you. Let's just celebrate this W for tonight. We have plenty of games left to lose this season.

Knox, Mudiay, Dot, all had a great game. Good job. Fiz pattern of not playing certain players for a while is strange but kinda effective. Question is would Frank play later down the road. :patrice:
Frank will end up playing a Sg, Sf wingman. He's not bad, he's just not a scorer. His defense is needed for certain teams.

Frank will improve to avg 10-15 ppg.

I was probably the first one in this thread to let my voice be heard or point out Frank's flaws, how he's not New York , soft, docile and how I wanted to draft someone else but him improving to 10-15 points a game should be a easy task. It's hard to deny his defensive ability. Hes a good kid that wants to learn. I hope he will manifest into a Point Tony Allen at minimum. But if he keeps on displaying that soft shyt :francis:.

Right now I lowered my standards for him as a
Knick. I don't care about his performance right now I'm looking for a mental switch.

Most of the Knicks have some dog in em. Thjr a dog has the confidence of Kobe will keep shooting even if he is 2 for 27... Trey is a dog will close out the game on a playoff caliber team. Kanter dog will scream in LeBrons face. Dot is a dog determination over turn what that mean DOT nikka!!!. Mitch a dog dog would relentlessly week blocks or foul out trying. Trier is a dog cross a nikka up twice and shoot in a nikka face. Even hezzy would dunk on a mvp caliber player and step over him with no regards for human life. Frank has a cat mentality. Would p*ssy foot to the basket and pass it out, they pass it back to him he will pass it back. Just calling a spade a spade. This is NEW YORK. We need to change that shyt asap. I don't want to be the Spurs of the East. fukk that helping a nikka up shyt. You're in NY keep that same energy at least. Let's rack up these Ls(tanking) but in NY fashion.

I don't think tanking is gonna matter like @storyteller said plus we already have the fifth pick locked in regardless which is really good plus cap space.

I don't think Frank is a prototypical NY point guard. He just doesn't fit the tempo and create space on the floor nor show a dominating presence because he passes the ball outside the perimeter. He's probably gonna transition into a spot up shooter with occasional layups and defend the nuisance guys like Klay, Curry, Harden, etc... If he can do that, he's not a G league guy. He's a young Bruce Bowen and underrated on defense but I would only trade him or waive him to the g league in a heartbeat to clear up space for Kawhi who could play both sides putting Timmy to 6th man.

Also I been saying for a min that Dotson should play point. He's more effective with Trier who's a chucker. He creates space and takes smart shots while also knowing his teammates strengths on open shots.

I think he will be a better pg than Burke.

Also with all these point guards getting better, I honestly don't think we need another in the draft or free agency. We have 4 guys that can play that position in time. We need some good SF/PF that can shoot. Imagine having a team of 7 footers with handles and 45%+.

I'm beginning to think we should go for Bol Bol.

Also as far as tanking im not too sure of how the new format is so this may come of as ignorant but we should tank harder. We have chances to take Ls in a low-key fashion against Playoff caliber teams who we shouldn't compete with but we are coming out with Ws.

Remember the process of Philadelphia.

That was glorious they had 6 years of tanking.

They faked injuries , were losing intentionally and people could tell however that didn't affect the process. They kept their draft picks every year and kept losing and losing.

Look at what they are now.

2013 with the 6th Pick rights traded to Philly
Nerlen Noel (so called injured for the next 2 years)

2013 with the 11th pick
Michael Carter Williams

2014 with the 3rd pick
Joel Embiid (they faked his injured for 2years)

2014 with the 10th pick
Efrid Payton but traded

2015 with the 3rd pick
Jahlil Okafor(so called injured that year)

2016 they really tanked... and with the 1st pick in the Draft
Ben Simmons (they faked his injured for a year)(came in the next year to win R.O.Y)

2016 they had 2 more picks in that first round the 26th and the 24th

2017 with the 1st pick Markell Fultz(injured that year probably was real this time:mjlol:)

Now just IMAGINE if they made better decisions in the draft instead of drafting 3 power forwards.. that would have been insane who they could have had:gucci:

Remember we just started receiving our draft picks a couple of years ago..

Their fans showed restlessness and fatigue but just look at what they achieved through the draft
Playoff status for the next DECADE
:blessed:

I might be delusional in saying this but in us not tanking, we still may have as good as or better of a team than Philly by the summer of 2019. Knox, Mitch, KP, a top 5th and a free agent in the summer will be better than Embiid, Simmons and Butler.

Idk about better than Simmons , Embiid and their squad. But I would say I don't want to tank for long.. this should be the last year of tanking especially if we pick Zion. We are already building a culture with these young dogs.

1Frank/Trey or Mudiay
2ThJr/Trier
3 Zion/Dot
4Porz/Knox
5Mitch/Noah or Kanter

Real talk regarding your "we should tank harder" statement...

Instead of just saying it, can you actually explain how we'd be able to accomplish it?

Like...dead ass... What are you saying the coach & players should be doing?

What should the coach do if we are up 1 and the opponent has ball with 20 secs left?

What should coach do regarding lineups?

I need to know what y'all nikkas are talking about...
