Can somebody please explain to me why the right is so morbidly obsessed with Rachel Jeantel? As if the constituency base for conservative america is made up of a bunch of Ivy league educated, intellectuals. That uncle tom needs to chill with those stones in that glass house of his.

Rachel Jeantel had no credibility... until she gave CACs n-word privileges.
It's because she represents everything they perceive in Black America. She's an easy canvas onto which they can project their fantasies, fears, hatreds, and desires.

Yeah, he's just deflecting from the issue like all these other CACs, and he's bullying and overtalking Piers.

Well said....my question was largely rhetorical, given that the right would miss an opportunity to mock and ridicule a black person, about as often as a starving pit bull would avoid eating a juicy steak inches from its nose. But what has me trippin is the juxtaposition between how aggressive they are in attacking Rachaels intelligence, or lack thereof, and conservatism's hostility to education, and the fundamental way conservatism operates. How often has conservative america sneered at "the liberal elite", and the "liberal ivory tower", in favor of down home everyday America? I swear if conservatives ever developed a sense of self-awareness, especially when it comes to race, they'd probably keel over in shock.
