LAPD will say anything though :patrice:
Okay look at it like this let's just say for the sake of argument that they were in fact inspired by the song..who the hell yall know in their right mind would voluntarily TELL that to a police officer?? :dahell: it just doesn't make sense. Can't picture a n!gga sitting there like "well officer it's like this, I was listening to YG's Meet The Flockers when :manny:..."

A group of men got caught committing home invasions and they are blaming their actions on YG‘s 2014 robbery manual.

Per TMZ:

The LAPD brass is furious at rapper YG for a song that inspired at least 3 guys to burglarize a number of homes in the L.A. area.

Law enforcement sources tell us … the 3 guys — 2 of whom are 18 and one 19 — committed burglaries in the San Fernando Valley recently and were arrested this week after one of the heists.

Each guy was interviewed by LAPD detectives and each one told cops they got the idea to burglarize homes by listening to YG’s song, “Meet the Flockers.”

It is true, the song is a step-by-step guide on how to break into a house, steal and then sell the wares on the street. But YG also had a song called “Sorry Momma” on the same album. Maybe they should consider listening to that the next time they see their mothers.

This isn’t the first time “Meet The Flockers” has been met with some angst. Members of the Chinese community took offense to the line that suggests that people run up in their homes specifically “because they don’t believe in bank accounts.”

The LAPD brass is furious at rapper YG for a song that inspired at least 3 guys to burglarize a number of homes in the L.A. area.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the 3 guys -- 2 of whom are 18 and one 19 -- committed burglaries in the San Fernando Valley recently and were arrested this week after one of the heists.

Each guy was interviewed by LAPD detectives and each one told cops they got the idea to burglarize homes by listening to YG's song, "Meet the Flockers."

The lyrics certainly sound like a road map. For example ...

First, you find a house and scope it out
Find a Chinese neighborhood, cause they don't believe in bank accounts
Second, you find a crew and a driver, someone who ring the doorbell
And someone that ain't scared to do what it do

Some members of the brass and many LAPD detectives are incensed at YG, saying the song is irresponsible.

Some YG fans have created their own music videos of the song, mimicking what would-be burglars should do.

Fun Fact: Major media conglomerates that push this type of music to the mainstream also invests in private prisons:

Breh, you know I'm with you on the effects of Hip Hop and how it influences our youth. I'm with it. But this sh!t here just doesn't add up I mean who do you know would sit there and literally tell a cop "I did it because the song by YG made me do it...". That sh!t just doesn't sound right.
And many police depts have tried this before. They're always claiming that somebody told them that a rap song "inspired them" to commit a crime. :patrice:
Whether it actually did is up for debate, I'm just not buying this whole idea that the burglars themselves told the LAPD this.

ESPECIALLY considering that the LAPD was already upset with YG over the song anyway :patrice:

I don't know anything about YG but you may be onto something if your last sentence is true. I've never heard this song or any other YG song.

Its funny that its a problem when these rappers mention causing harm to other races of people besides blacks.

I guess if YG didn't mention the Chinese and only rapped about robbing other black folk, then the LAPD wouldn't have a problem wit the song.:pachaha:
