we're not talking about life though, we're talking about basketball. and really, what has lavar ball achieved? his sons had the talent. was he some successful businessman or something before they got famous?

Lavar might've not been a good baller himself but he trained Lamelo and the other brothers growing up. Put them in an environment to succeed as ballers. Most of what he learned about ball growing up comes from his dad plus Lavar was training all his friends and stuff too.

You dont know because of different eras

Social media really didn't take off until Kobe was only 3-4 years till retirement
Just like YOU don’t know if Kobe would’ve been in his feelings like you said.

His track record shows that he didn’t really care what people thought enough to make his feelings public. You’re reaching hard. Let’s not act like he didn’t congratulate Bron publicly on SM for breaking his records, his last post the day before his death was to Bron, congratulating him.

Bill Russell is a legend who accomplished everything there is to accomplish in bball and he's still getting mad sensitive about anything younger players or even random social media users say 50 years after his last title. He's bringing himself into conversations that he wasn't even named in. The narrative that old-school players ain't sensitive about their image is just dumb. Even by their own admission guys like Wilt, Magic, Bird, MJ, etc. cared a lot about what others thought of them.

But no one brought up Bill. Only Jordan and Kobe was brought up. So how did you change the narrative of this thread by bringing up a narrative that no one was talking about, in this thread? Did Kobe or Mike post social media responses about certain players being considered better than them?

We know who Kobe was. He wasn't some insecure p*ssy. If he had a problem with some young kid he would take it out on the court not social media. Kobe wasn't bytch made like that.

MJ wouldn’t have gave a fukk. He would be more happy about beating his ass on the court not hugging him then posting passive aggressive shyt on the internet

Yall got to realize there’s a reason people don’t like lebron and it’s usually because of hoe-like tendencies we wouldn’t see people like Kobe, MJ, etc., show on and off court.

And it’s the media and stans that act like Lebron is so special to meet with and expected to be worshipped by his peers when he’s not even close to that
