No reason for him to abandon running the ball like this.

Everytime he dropped back in the 2nd half, those gaps were available for him to pick up yards on the ground.

Unless he's hurt and doesn't want to run, he switched who he is as a player to appease the media narrative about him. :stopitslime:

Like I said, the Chiefs did the same thing to the Dolphins and the Bills. Took away the intermediate and deep passes. You can't scheme your WR's open easily vs their passing defense. These last three weeks these opposing QB's have looked up after their drop was complete only to see everybody has been covered while they're sitting there holding the ball. Only Tua connected on a deep ball home run in-structure/stride.

Lamar needed to extend plays and give his WR's a chance to get open and hit them on the run. Dude needed to be an out-of-structure play maker today.

That play where he decided not to get the first down as well was :mindblown:

No help from any run plays either. Edwards was a non-factor because the Ravens OC made no effort to get dude the ball.
Your main RB getting 3 attempts for a play-off game is straight dumb.
Mind you they ran play-action a ton as well.
Running play-action without setting up the run game is :mindblown:
