This era has been nasty, and thankfully will be forgotten about.

Right now the lakers can fetch 2-3 1st round picks for AD. This years draft looks strong. Next year a true generational prospect is going 1st. Getting a high draft pick in either this or next years draft is a better option than being a play in team.

Let Lebron rot here in his last season and drive the tank. Him leading us to a top pick in the draft would be the best thing he’s done in his brief, forgettable time here.

What metrics do you judge ''its time'' by? Was it time in the 2014/2015/2016/2017 seasons prior to lebron joining when the lakers were the bottom seeds in their conference and consistently out of the playoffs and the joke of the league? The previous 5-6 seasons before lebron signed for the lakers they were never in the playoffs a single time, not once

Why resort to ad hominems and insults when we can talk in a civilized fashion? Explain to me how consistently making the playoffs, winning a championship and going to the conference finals twice under lebrons lakers tenure is objectively a worse position than the lakers were in the previous 5 to 6 seasons prior to lebron joining when they never were in the playoffs a single time and finished 14th and 15th in the west in that span.

This is literally a mirror image of the 2013 Celtics with an old KG and Paul Pierce

Danny Ainge traded away KG and Pierce to the Nets who were a lottery team who got fleeced into thinking the old veterans were still championship contenders, on top of the added benefit to sell more tickets. The Celtics were still good enough to carry a team to the playoffs for a 1st round exit. If you are the Lakers, this is the exact time to trade them, when their value is still decent and can get you a Top 3 draft pick

Had Danny waited 2 more years, no way he would have gotten the draft picks that ended up being Jayson and Jaylen. Rob Pelinka should be on the phone with Danny now to coach him on how to do it lol

Can someone really address this claim that the Lakers can get 2-3 1st round picks for Anthony Davis?

A guy who could be injured any minute and who is going to be 32 years old in March?
What team is going to give up those picks?
You gotta understand…. About 95% of the time the Coli doesn’t know what the hell they are talking about

So if someone on this site is claiming that, just chalk it up to that

This is the highest AD’s stock has been since 2020:gucci: a team that thinks they are one player away would do it, Lakers don’t have the nuts to trade him though
