I'd bet anything she knew but just didn't give a fukk, likely because there are no Black people in her circle anyway. You just can't convince me that she, or none of her friends who were also in costume, nor anyone else who knew she was dressing up, thought, "Maybe this is a bad idea." The costume idea probably went through twenty people before she was even in public.

And if that's truly just "she didn't know" and none of them knew, then that's even more pathetic.
