There’s one part in the match where Angle is outside. Austin goes out, and before he tosses Angle in the ring he randomly goes up to a fan and gives him the finger. shyt was fukkin funny.

definitely my favorite Stone Cold match
they even paid homage to both Bret Hart matches from SS96 and Wrestlemania
with the corner pin and ankle lock with Austin bleeding.

I remember a Kurt interview saying he wasn't even suppose to that match either. The only reason he won was because of 9/11. That's why he dropped the belt back like 2 weeks later.

This is match is also one of the few times agree about the dq finish. It built Kurt up huge as he was the first to kick out of three stunners. And they tried to get over Austin's desperation at keeping the title that he bad to get himself dq'ed.

this was probably one of if not the best PPV to come out of the Invasion era
