I got my revenge at the self checkout :manny:
Facts. What you do is scan everything you wanna pay for then for the one item you don't wanna pay for click pay now then scan. It will say you gotta go back to the previous screen to add that to your total but if you just put it with the rest of your groceries it won't say hey you got more wait over there than you should let me call an employee and make sure you're not stealing. Click back afterwards then pay now and pay. I done got $23 Lamb the other week at Walmart, Lamb again another time there, another time there some $13 impossible burgers bundle, and something from Kroger. It does not work at Aldi's or Publix

I tried to explain to my dumbass uncle that CEOs were purposely price gouging yet he still wants to be a cac and keep blaming Biden
Watch if OPEC cuts production in the next month and gasoline prices go up. "Biden fukking sucks:what:"

Regulators try to reel them in and that lil Chevron Deference decision comes into play "What are the Democrats doing about it? :what: "

They’ve been bragging about in earnings calls for years. companies don’t make record profits if they're just raising prices because of inflation.
profits = money left over after expenses. If people understood this, they would see staffing cuts + wage stagnation + all time high profits = we getting fukked by them, not politicians. And it takes ages to reign them in when they do this cause its usually fines they gladly pay for the privilege of fukking us.

Just live on bags of potatoes, and rotisserie chickens (amazing how cheap those usually are) until they drop the prices on everything else.

A little hyperbolic, but not completely a joke.

You can make decent food for fairly cheap if you buy the ingredients. I realize eggs and milk and shyt are ingredients too.

The cool thing about capitalism is: prices will seek their own level. If consumers go with an alternative, the price for the competing product will fall.. at least get closer to actual cost for the company for the product.
