Kovalev-Stevenson Falls Through; Kovalev To Russia in June? - Boxing News
-Kovalev/Stevenson fell through again, no shyt
-Stevenson will likely face Mandatory Eledier Alvarez in April
-Kovalev will fight again in June, in Russia
-Andre Ward should be fighting Sullivan Barrera in March
-Kovalev and Ward are scheduled to meet up in November for a Super Fight..... however.....
Let's go back to June in Russia. Kovalev hasn't fought in Russia for damn near 5 years and it's a long overdue welcome home. However, I think I may have narrowed down who they might send out an offer to.
-Will it be Juergen Braehmer?.......... They can try but we'll see if Braehmer wants to actually step up or not. Has to beat Thomas Ooze in March, which shouldn't be a problem (Would love to see it)
-Will it be Artur Beterbiev?........... They can try, though it hasn't worked out thus far but there is a rivalry and they're both Russian (Would also love to see this)
-Will it be Felix Valera?.......... Who is this you ask?
@krackdagawd 's Dominican cousin, WBA interim champion, the winner this past August of a big upset IN RUSSIA, Felix Valera.
@patscorpio I would've included ya boy but uh....... Edwin Rodriguez is facing Thomas Williams Jr. next. Two heavy hitting sum-bytches
Of course there's plenty other young, undefeated talent to be offered upon... (Marcus Browne, the Irish-American with Arum, etc)
...plenty veteran fighters with a name and good standing... (Fonfara, Chilemba, Stieglitz, etc)
