That's why it comes on a dedicated hard drive . . trust me breh, you don't want all that on the hard drive that you'll be working on :ahh:

I have ultimate 8 and thought about 9, but after looking into it i decided against it. The only new feature i saw of note was "Session Horns" which you can buy by itself for $99. I'ld save the money and just stick with 8 or buy 8 if you don't have it. All of NI's products are solid.

as far as installing and using 8 i agree with Wally Russell, buy an external drive and install all the data on there. the external drive operates much better and is the official recommendation by Native Instruments.

I can get a NFR version for $199 but I dont know if I want to put 200 bucks in something I cant sale if I dont like it.
