Recently, Kofi was a guest on Booker T’s podcast and the always positive Superstar admits that there was a point in his career where he considered leaving WWE:

(h/t: comicbook.com)

“The closest time I’ve come (to quitting), I don’t want to say it was the lowest point of my career, but before I joined the New Day, I was at a point when I would go out there and be the happy go lucky guy who was gonna have a great match and probably end up losing,” he continued. “At a certain point, when you keep going out there and doing the same thing over and over again, it gets repetitive and boring. It was at that point, I didn’t know how much longer I would be able to do that.”

I like this, wwe should always make sure to let their talent do these type of shows, and stop pandering to the good morning America audience. they dont and wont ever watch wrestling, its pointless.
I wonder if the breakfast club doesnt do wrestling because rosenberg works for wwe and he probably has some type of deal that prohibits them for going over there.

You might be right, because Charlamagne gave a shout out to New Day 2yrs ago.

I was thinking about that after this thread got started and now that you mention it, I don't recall any WWE wrestlers ever being on TBC. That's a shame too because as far as interviews go nowadays - TBC > Hot 97 IMO.

Not their demographic, tbc caters to women and homosexuals more so than 97. I can’t think of one thing yee or charlamagne would care to know about the wwe.

I wouldn’t say all that. They have had. Plenty of guest only straight males would care about boxers, football and basketball players, etc... ctg has mentioned wrestlers or made reference to wrestlers many times But it’s whatever
