The major point in rings and the man is the finals MVP to go along with it for the full validation. If Lebron was to win a ring and not get the finals MVP to go along with it, we would not hear the end of trolling of people talking about lebron being carried to a title. Somehow, this is often left of the narrative in Kobe's post Shaq era even though it was one that was routinely mentioned during the Kobe/shaq run which was to a degree, why Kobe didn't want Shaq around any longer.
