Kobe Bryant, at the time overseas for the Olympics, made his point to Dwight Howard over the phone. The terms are pretty simple: For at least the next two seasons -- the years remaining on Bryant's current contract -- or for however many seasons he decides to keep playing, the Lakers are Bryant's team. After that, he will gracefully hand off the NBA's most glamorous franchise to Howard. "I got a question earlier about whose team this is," Bryant said Monday. ... "I don't want to get into the, 'Well, we share ...' No, it's my team. But I want to make sure that Dwight, when I retire, this is going to be his. I want to teach him everything I possibly know so that when I step away, this organization will ride on as if I never left."

Either you hate him or respect his troll-game.

Who knows, Michael didn't have all of these situations where he wasn't even the best player on his own team.

I don't know about that. Scottie without Michael and D league SG = 2 less wins and robbed of a Finals appearance. MJ without Scottie = lottery seasons and first round exits. But hey, who cares about facts.

Same story can be told about Kobe and Derek Fisher. The Lakers lottery and 1st round exit years corresponded with Fisher's absence and look who was in the finals last year

Meh, can't win rings by yourself. Lets rest assured that Kobe has played on some of the GOAT teams and with the GOATs of this era. How are you still not entertained? :mindblown:

:leostare: Who is he trying to convince? :mjpls:

His bark is loud but his bite is no longer vicious

Edit: Kobe is actually starting to sound just like one of his stans. The flabbier he gets the more trolling he must do...
