Kobe from 00 to 04 was without question a top 3 perimeter defender in the league. Lebron's man to man defense isn't even better than 08 Kobe's.

Kobe was a fantastic passer and rebounder. There was nothing that prime Kobe couldn't do at a good to an elite level.
