Koba seemed to be alright before the simian flu survivors crossed their territory.

I don't hate him for what he did though. Dude was a lab rat, how the fukk is someone supposed to get over that without therapy? So seeing that humans weren't really all wiped out probably sent Koba over the edge.

Caesar would have fukked around and eventually gotten all the apes massacred.

If the human survivors got back on their feet and began growing again (thanks to Caesar's help getting them electricity), it was just a matter of time before they decided to eliminate the ape threat.

Koba had authoritarian tendencies (and was ruling on fear during his brief time at the top when Caesar was believed by everyone to be dead), but his basic insight was probably right... Caesar was far too conciliatory toward the human survivors.

NO
N*ggaz whole life he was abused by humans... like really abused. Seems like he just wanted some revenge. Still he shouldn't of done his n*gga Caesar like that though. What a great f*cking movie man.
Are you kidding me, hell if anything Koba was the metaphor of the oppressed black man, and Caesar was the c00n.

What turned him from a sympathetic character to a heartless b*stard was the killing one of his own by throwing him off the ledge. The writers want us to know that he was bad and their was no redemption for his character. It was really cheap the way they want to make the audience root against him. But I totally empathize with his pain and suffering.

Koba was frustrated, and his distrust of the humans proved to be truth. I think the movie made him do fukkboy shyt just to make him less sympathetic, though. Like making the angry black man appear to be a menace when a movie actually underscores and proves correct everything he says in the first act.
