What sneakers do you run in? Ran a half in 2012 Air maxes and blew out my knee 7 miles in. Year after I wore Asics Tri Noosas, finished no problem. I used KT Tape because i was still shook thinking my knee was gonna fukk up again, but i'm sure the right kicks was all i needed.

Currently running in some flyknit racers; used to run in some old Nike Shox which probably wasn't the best idea. Never tried KT tape

I don't know about those, i went to a running shoe store, got on the treadmill & they recommend sneakers based on watching you. I would do the same if I was you.

But cop the KT Tape & watch the video so you know how to apply it correctly. You gonna have to shave ya legs so it stick better.

Well, knee support isn't going to make a difference. You could wear a neoprene sleeve knee support with knee cap cutout if it makes you feel like it gives you more stability. Unless you are making crazy moves, your knee won't blow out.

It's all about form, stretching, and strengthening the knee. I run in altra zero drop which take a little getting used too but keeps a lot of the impact off your knees and more towards your calf. When I first started running years back I would wear a knee brace thinking I needed it. Then I started yoga and knee pains went away. I always recommend yoga to anybody with body aches or strains. Nothing else has helped reduce my aches and pains like yoga has.
