I just wanted to make a thread on this because, I started it but never got too far in it, but I got into Dragons Dogma and couldn't stop. I think the game is pretty dope, the combat is great and the class system encourages experimentation (don't learn any crafting though, it's virtually useless). But so far the story is kind of bland. What you guys think, and any tips moving forward?

Kind of lost interest after Mass Effect 3 dropped. I think it was released at the worst time, with Skyrim dropping before it and Mass Effect dropping after It pretty much got overshadowed, which probably hurt sales too. Had that shyt dropped in August-September, they would have grabbed the audience looking for a deep rpg to fill the void until Skyrim was released.

Naw Curt Schilling is a jackass but it's a pretty solid game nonetheless and it does some things much better than Skyrim. It has a much better class system, that rewards you for branching out. The quests feel more rewarding. I like the finishing moves you get when you fill up the fate meter. I like the large variety of weapons an moves. I like playing the game on hard difficulty. The overall story is average but the sidequests are as rewarding if not more so in Skyrim. Actually, I feel this game is what Fable was supposed to be. I hope another company buys the rights and continues the franchise. I feel bad for all the employees that lost their jobs, but yea

:piss: Curt Schilling.

Yea, I can't believe the state put money behind that company, maybe you should :pacspit: your state representatives :laff:

But its around 40 bucks now, its worth a cop in all objectiveness.
