HUGE mistake not releasing that game on the PS3, Would have been a huge success and the graphics and art style would have been mind blowing.
I mean I still can't believe they rather focus on a NOW lack luster / dated RPG style (final fantasy) when they could have dropped a game that could have restored Square's name

Kingdom Hearts 3 will not see release in this console generation. The team that would be making it is still making Final Fantasy Versus XIII which probably won't be released till the end of the current generation.

You are trying to reunite the 3 Keyblade users from Birth By Sleep(PSP) to stop Master Xehanort(also shown in BBS, you even get to fight him)...KH: Dream Drop Distance is the direct set up for KH3 and mentions this as the main goal.
You gotta have the handhelds to have kept up with the story

Birth By Sleep was piff tho. 3 new Keyblade Wielders with 3 seperate campaigns for each and they had their own unique fighting styles. Can't speak for KH:3D because I havent played it yet but yeah, the GBA and DS one's are weak tho, gotta agree with you there.
Really the only important handheld one's are Birth By Sleep(PSP) and KH:3D(3DS), story-wise.

to know everything you have to buy a PS2, GBA, DS, Compatible phone(Coded was an episode series that took place when Sora read the letter at the end of KH2. it later came out on the DS tho), PSP, and 3DS.
may too much stuff has gone on. and there is no telling how long it will be til the HD Remixes come out here in the US.

Square-Enix has fallen off more then any other game developer. At one time this was one of the premier developer/publishing companies in the world.
They haven't made a good FF game since X, dropped the ball on KH, everything else has been trash.

We actually know quite a bit about KH3.
We know Sora is going to revive Roxas/Xion/Namine
We know Sora is going to save Aqua/Ansem
We know Aqua is going to save Ven
We know 7 lights are going to fight the 13 darkness
WE KNOW THE VIDEO YOU POSTED HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH KH3.
Except that the HD remake has nothing to do with the development of KH3 and is not hindering at all seeing as how 2 totally different teams are working on each title.Kingdom Hearts HD remake, which is gonna only slow down 3 even more
It's one thing to be pissed we still don't have KH3. It's another thing to just have baseless facts and run with them.
EVERY GAME AFTER KH2 HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF KH3. The "Main" Kingdom hearts team which were responsible for KH1 and KH2 only worked on those 2 kh games and thats it. Re:CoM,358/2days/BBS and Dream Drop Distance was all made by the "osaka" KH team.
The "Main" KH team is currently working on FFVS13. And until thats done KH3 will not begin development. So to counter this they allow the osaka team to continue making KH games since it's either those or no KH at all until FFVS13. Nomura has said time and time again he wants no one touching KH3 besides the main KH team.
With that said Dream Drop Distance provides tons of info on where the series is heading to and whats going to go down in KH3 once it's finally here.
