Word on the streets in Ireland is that the show is mediocre and made for overseas consumption.

I can see from the screenshots/trailers they sanitized the fukk out of these scumbags. If it was realistic nobody would have the slightest fukking clue what these idiots are saying.

Ciaran Hinds alone has more decorum in his little finger then any Kinahan shythead.

Pretty decent show. It's a standard(by now) family/crime drama but well acted and well done. The "action" is slower and more restrained than most other crime dramas these days but it works. It's not like Narcos where each episode you have firefights between 20 guys with AKs. Here each murder or act of violence feels significant. The hit on Caolan More was very well done, for instance.

I'm not Irish but I've been following the Kinahans from an organized crime standpoint since before the Hutch feud. I don't see any similarities between the show and real life other than the fact that its Ireland and that it's a local crew vs an international gang.

It's definitely not like Love/Hate, you can see that it was made for overseas consumption. Love/Hate had lower production values but was a way better show.
