It's time to step in the zone. No, not the AutoZone. I'm talking about the Killzone. Guerilla Games' iconic red-eyed antagonists, the Helghast, as well as the men and women of the ISA, will be joining the likes of Kratos and Ratchet and Clank as the Killzone Trilogy becomes the latest PlayStation Collection to hit store shelves.

The PlayStation Collection kicked off a couple of weeks ago with the likes of the God of War Saga, the inFamous Collection and the Ratchet and Clank Collection, offering complete (to near complete) game libraries for big PS3 series, all at a nice, affordable price.

Now the Killzone Trilogy is set to release on Oct. 23, offering all three Killzone games, including an HD-ified version of the original PlayStation 2 game, for $39.99. I hope you're ready for a rousing war speech.

Back when Killzone 3 dropped in early 2011, it was supposed to include a digital copy of the original Killzone. That perk was cut at the last minute, however, leading me to wonder how long, exactly, these PlayStation Collections have been in the works. But maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Along with the three core games, you'll also get all online map packs for Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 included at no extra charge. These include Steel and Titanium, Flash and Thunder and Napalm and Cordite for Killzone 2, and Steel Rain, Retro, and From the Ashes for Killzone 3. There's a new Killzone set to hit the Vita at some point and, without giving away any spoilers, the ending of Killzone 3 leaves plenty of room for another sequel to be added at some point. What I'm saying is, this looks like a pretty sound way and pretty great timing to catch up on your Killzone lore.

Nothing :hula:

KZ1 = :trash:
KZ2 = horrid gameplay, but nice graphics. The balancing was even worse
And if you didn't play the game when it first came out.. then you couldn't even compete because higher level players had access to all types of weapons that you NEED to survive. Aka, yo ass would be grass if you new to the game
KZ3 = Decent online, but the level design was not solid according to the local 3cepts who made the jump. I liked it during the beta, but once the retail dropped. So many bad reviews made me not even get it

Then shortly after sony made the online available via download for $15
I think it might even be free now???

(Need something else to play in the fall in the hotel rooms.... :manny: )
Didn't you already have 2 and 3 :childplease:

Bruh, I could give a fukk WHAT you believe. I'm a fan of videogames
Thats why I'm here :hula:
You should take my word on it because I actually played these games with your peers UNLIKE you.
I don't stan a muthafukkin thing. What I said is how it went down
A "stan" is one who will tell you its the best game ever even though they don't play the game anymore. That type of shyt is common on the ps3 side, so I can't take most of them SERIOUSLY when it comes to gaming.

Fatboi is on xbox more than he is his ps3. The only reason he's not on xbox even MORE is because he doesn't like the fact he has to pay for XBL
Thats his reason.

There really isn't too many more ps3 fanboys because they all jumped ship already :jawalrus:

Now what is it you think I'm lying about? KZ1 being :trash:
KZ2 having horrid controls at first? Google it, they had to patch the controls multiple times before they got it to where they left it
Then that game died off because newbs had no chance.

How could I make some shyt like that up :what:
Like, if that was a lie. I agree then, put me on ignore. If you don't like the answer to you question, make like an Ostrich bytch :umad:

KZ3, when was the last time you heard anybody even mention that game :russ:

Sorry but Killzone is complete garbage. Only Sony fanboys give a crap about the trilogy. Not trying to be funny or a troll but the KZ games were all mediocre.

let me guess. you're one of those cod kids who like their annual rehashes of outdated game engines, or a bf3 fanboy who needs vehicles to do good?

i don't play killzone anymore, but to call it "mediocre" is just stupid

Let me guess :what:
First off, EVERYBODY is a COD head. You gotta be some weirdo if you not
Maybe you got tired of it, but it is a great franchise that everyone can appreciate for what it is/what it accomplished.

Then you decided to hate on BF3 as well. Thats over 90% of all gamers bruh (talkin both series)
So you can't talk condescendingly to anybody. You are the weirdo "kid" who is trying to act as if KZ2/3 was EVER a top game. Only in your dumbass eyes. The game that looked so great, and according to you played so great barely sold over 2million copies after 3yrs.
To put that in perspective, COD and BF3 outsold your favorite game in preorders :russ:
The KZ community started off small, never got bigger. Why you think they offering the entire series for 2/3 the price of a single game?

Man, kill yoself...
