A disgusting video shows employees at a KFC location in America showing what allegedly happens behind the scenes at the popular fast food eatery.

The video, which appears to have been filmed sometime, has gone viral in recent weeks with over five million YouTube views.

It seems to show how this particular location re-uses dirty mac-and-cheese cups, freezes green beans in old water and sells days-old chicken 'covered in mildew and mold.'

The shocking footage begins with a worker recording a colleague as he is closing the restaurant location for the day.

'So what do you want to the world to know about KFC?' she can be heard asking.
