Since the ball was dropped in the delaurentis conan that had arnold. Talk about mo money missed on the table. Or complete executive disconnect for the time. The same level of executive disconnect still on display. Coupled with a complete lack of a discovery zone. In every way Possible.
That same level of disconnect. That existed to not properly license a conan toy from the movie regardless. Is the same level of idiot exec disconnect displayed in this series. Except this time we are dealing with mattell. Whom, Revolutionized corporate espionage. Whom should be smarter than this in 2021. Plus in regard to the next greatest toyline after star wars. Continue to demonstrate the same disconnect showcased. throughout the boom and decline of the next greatest original toy line after star wars. Gone should be the time of mattell toys does not speak to filmation. Gone should be the days of the heman comic in the very toys. Showcase disconnect between divisions.
Yet here we are in 2021. Still dealing with the same dumb ass issues from the mid eighties. As early as 1983 and a serious issue. When compared to the boom of gi joe, robotech and voltron. To mark that actual boom period. that possibly could be revisited.
If done with an attention to detail and a thorough discovery zone.

in the same fashion the he-man motion picture. failed to capture and create connectivity between the popular tv show by filmation. Plus completely fails.

As this show takes and emulates.

. were self aware about heman in lore and fan perception from neg to positive. In this incarnation. It is obvious the makers of this show. suffered from disconnect and lack of discovery zone. You get no iconic theme song call back.
Just like the idiotic film from 1987.
It is 2021.
From the failed dc jla the movie alone. No film ip franchise should be making dcu level mistakes moving forward. Never once playing the iconic theme songs or score of their heroes. This suffers the same level of idiots in control here. Then to add further insult. Instead of showcasing us an establishing shot of what eternia is. It fails just like the 1987 movie to showcase this in grand enough fashion. Plus employs the exact same level of disconnect of the 1987 movie.
Demonstrating the exact same level of corporate disconnect in division. Thirty five plus years later like it is 1987 allover again.

So we get the huff idea of theme songs. That plague every property not marvel. Where we open with the familiar idea of he-man protecting grayskull. Plus the visual reintroduction of the most intelligent female character of our generation. The SORCERESS!
YET this series immediately takes doses of disconnect stoopid pills. Nerf'n the intelligence, wit guile and prevaling wisdom of the sorceress. By having the sorceress fall for bullshyt. She readily, easily and intelligently in the previous filmation cartoon. Always was four to five steps ahead of,...almost forty years ago. Yet in this shyt. We get sorceress falling for some bullshyt. That is nowhere near a yuck yuck call back to even the filmation campy style cartoon. Which totally undermines any dope film art. or anything remotely close .
to the initial wow factor of the high quality of animation from the same film house as castlevania. So the whole idea of getting a ninja scroll slash meets aeon flux animation looking bite. Except applied to heman. Takes this series to the level of preposterously dumb eye domestic anime style candy. Where you do not even get enough screen time for why we are all here. Which is He-man.

We really need a MAN Cable Channel on some hetero uber masculine shyt. If it means meathead man type shyt, then so be it. Tired of all of this emasculation of males on TV and movies. Give us SOME kinda outlet for old school manly man shyt. Straight 70s-90s manly movie and TV shows. Even original series where dudes weren't emasculated.
