Kevin Nash made the following tweet about TNA star Sting getting an Alumni profile on WWE.com even though Sting has never been in a WWE ring:

"Was on WWE.com: The Official Site of the WWE Universe an went thru the alumni how is Sting listed he never worked a WWF or WWE match?"

"Not saying he's not a legend just not a WWF WWE legend. If you never played for the Yankees how are you a Yankees legend?"

Cant say i disagree with him, But WWE is WCW too so :manny:

Nash is correct here, but Sting is heavly featured in the video libaries WWE owns so its not that big of a deal.

Sting matters. Nash never did. Simple. Breaking Goldberg's streak and laying down during a hyped main event were two top reasons that crushed WCW's momentum. Sting headlined the most bought WCW PPV in history. They have all kind of guys that weren't WWE connected in the HOF. Get real.

A horrible WWF title reign during nearly the worst time in wrestling history. A forgotten title defense against Michaels in the main event of WM 11. Nobody ever brings up the Taker finale a year later. He was Hogan's sidekick. Fans loved Hall more. He didn't have a stand out performance ever except for the 4 Horseman parody. He booked himself to break Goldberg's streak for no logical reason even till this day. Mediocre in TNA except for the Main Event Mafia. Makes shock statemens instead of making sense. The old man is through.

So what? Hogan was what made that work and sell...that's why trash was thrown in the ring. He was more over and of course led to the second boom. Nash was never ratings and never was hyped for any of their PPV success at any point. EVER.

This is unarguable except when he actively buried sting LOL ...then he was over.

But...youre combining kayfabe with reality like a true mark. In reality nash mattered because of influence behind the scenes and nash played sting like a fiddle over and over

I think the Starrcade main event restart fiasco did more to fukk up Wcw's momentum but the streak and fingerpoke were 1b and c

Not really. Sting is adored in 2013. Is Nash? Nope. Sting made more money than Nash. And you know DAMN WELL Sting don't care about jobbing or any shyt like that. He tried to get goofballs like Vampire over. You been going around for years thinking he "played" Sting? Nash is begging for WWE jobs and Sting makes what? A million a year for limited dates?

That's just fan anger. Money was still being made. The Goldberg run was huge but in the end, like Pepsi said in Casino, "we fukked it ALL UP".

The thing is I truly think you can create sting with multiple other wrestlers. Magnum TA probably would've been WAY bigger than sting ever got. The NWO well would not have worked if not for Nash and hall and Hogan. I guess maybe HDK could have taken Nash's place. Sting is a fairly replaceable person in wrestling history. It's not a popular belief but I personally think it's true. John Cena for example is basically sting. in reality John cena actually sold more and drew more than sting ever did would or could. And I fukking hate John Cena.

Will way off topic right now, but Nash is pretty right sting is not a WWE alumni. It doesn't make sense.

Is sting relevant in 2013? Adored?
