Smoking on a Cac Pack
speaks on getting up early every morning and working out before shooting film. Talks about training for 5k's and running a pr of 18 minutes
didn't watch, but if kevin hart did a 5K in 18 minutes, that's under 6 minutes a mile. I dunno if that's or not, cuz that is approaching professional athlete speeds.
18 minutes is great for the average person but would be considered slow for a professional.
i was running 17 minute 5k's when i was 15. You're not doing anything elite until you break into the 15 minute range.
it takes time and training to build up the endurance and speed. One of the best ways to increase both are to run hill courses. We would go to a park with a lot hills and run 3-5 miles so that when we ran the same distance on a flat course it was easy.I can't come no where near that speed of 18 minutes. and I regulary go out for 5 mile runs.
anytime I try to sprint or increase speed, I always end up getting hurt with a hamstring, or an achilles or calf or something. I don't my body can handle the explosion anymore.

also if you're running on concrete, it will destroy the integrity of your joints. I experience knee pains and joint problems anytime i do. I strictly run on grass, treadmill or track and I don't experience any irritation. I apply peppermint oil for all my aches and pains, its not a cure but its natural and takes the pain away effectively as well as being anti-bacterial.
Also you want to have foods rich in calcium(celery seed) to preserve bone/joint integrity and to increase the strength thereof as well. Eat foods containing collagen producing amino acids(spinach, chia, kale) to preserve and increase muscle tissue elasticity, repair and mass.
I've been running strictly hills and doing sprints lately because i've been bulking(was 155lbs 6'1 ) I'm @ a lean 185lbs now since i've been doing dips/pullups etc and looking to reach 200lbs by end of summer(bulking now).
