I keep hearing he's such a great lyriscist, but i just don't get it. I've listened to the album a few times and I can't recall any standout rewindable lines

so its more about the lack of lyricism in the game than kendricks lyrical prowess

I guess I can agree with that, he is better than most people on the radio

Kendrick isn't a punchline rapper like Cassidy or Eminem. He's more of a Nas/Pac-type lyricist. He prides himself on storytelling and vibes versus "YO, WHAT DID HE JUST SAY??" Kendrick's music takes multiple listens to fully digest what he's saying. I couldn't give you my favorite 10 K.Dot quotes, but you know that I love the album as a whole tho.

Never said he wasn't talented. He got lyricist of the year, and I always here people talmbout how his lyrics are amazing. Post some amazing lyrics

People really give a fukk about quotables. He crafts great verses that work great with the beat and hook - its a matter of overall product, not one liners here and there.
