A Philly kat that grew up listening to the old greats. Heavily influenced by early Mobb Deep, Nas, Black Moon, Da Youngstas and the likes. Only recently discovered I had a passion for music after recording myself one day after having written a freestyle to "The Start Of Your Ending" by Mobb Deep.

Some recent tracks of mine below.

"Medulla Oblongata"

This track has been getting me the most buzz so far. The track is about a "What If" scenario, where a modern day Nat Turner-like figure rebels against modern day America.

"Risky Business"

This is honestly what I feel is my best work so far. As an artist, I keep thinking of ways to experiment with my flow, and push myself further with each song in order to expand my versatility. Tried something completely new here by just straight spittin over a classical instrumental.

"There`ll Never Be"

Made this one just for the summer, sending love and good vibes to those we care about and appreciate the most

"Dear Diary" (Temperature`s Rising Remix)

By far my most personal song. The song is about an inner conflict I faced in my youth due to issues I dealt with in my teen years, and was also a tribute to Mobb Deep`s style of rap. Released this song a few days before Prodigy passed. Made this song praying that him and Havoc would`ve listened. His passing broke my heart man.

But anyway, there`s more tracks on my soundcloud (Link in my sig). Give my ish a listen and lemme know what ya`ll think. Have the CRAZIEST tracks coming out soon, and my first album that will be on the way later this year or early next.

I love critique so PLEASE drop your opinions on areas ya`ll think I should improve. Promising you guys that along with J.I.D., Kendrick, Cole, Black Thought, Joey and numerous others, I WILL bring back that high bar that was once the standard in hip-hop/rap. Trynna keep that old and familiar East Coast spirit alive, while also bringing it back in a new way.

Love ya`ll Coli fam. If I blow up, ya`ll heard me first.

One Love

I liked "There'll never be" but my critique would be it sounds like you're in a rush to finish your rhymes, if you let the lyrics breathe a bit more they'll have more impact, get in the pocket of the beat more, but yeah I really enjoyed "There'll never be".

Appreciate the feedback

I think you're absolutely right. I'm continuously working on getting inside the beat more and teaching myself where the lyrics can ease up and breathe and where they can go hammer at.

It's something that will just come with experience further down the line

Appreciate the feedback.

Always trying to change up my flow a bit, so it's the lack of proper breathing in between verses, or the odd breath intakes between verses, that makes the flow choppy at times

Am working on fixing that though through learning more breathing techniques

Appreciate the feedback, interesting point you made

When I record it`s half memory / half reading my lyrics directly from my phone. Taking the time to memorize ALL of my lyrics completely is something I`ve started doing recently, so I can spit those words straight from the heart so that the sound is much more raw

breath control is key.

Definitely. Practice makes perfect. On the other hand, check this track out. Not my best, but I`ve been told my flow here was pretty consistent. Did my best to ride the beat with this one, and I can only recall one brief moment where I went off beat for a split sec
