There has to have been something based on the way Taker thoroughly dismantled him at KOTR 01, and then the same to him and Kanyon in the cage.

From Hardore Holly's book. ..Apparently DDP liked to carefully plan out all his matches. The Undertaker took offence to this.
DDP infuriated The Undertaker because he didn't feed his babyface comeback on a house show by taking multiple flat back bumps in a row - this was WWF style. DDP was used to bumping & selling in WCW not bumping & getting straight back up plus he was 46 years old
This actually got a bunch of WCW guys heat when they first came over. Jericho talked about it in his book. They just didn't know, and nobody told them anything. Jericho got heat for it, too, when he first came over.
