it’s an archaic requirement whose time has long since passed. and, keeping it a buck, its inclusion among prerequisites was a means of limiting the paths of fruitful employment for black people.
it’s being treated as a pretty big deal for good reason. a lot of skilled and competent people without degrees will benefit from this.
