Yeah forget tangibles that’ll help their communities…. Let them get high with no consequences or ramifications. Not to mention they lacing weed with fentanyl and all types of poison out here.

Alcohol is a far more dangerous drug that kills millions of people a year. No state that has decriminalized or legalized cannabis has overturned that, and every state that has legalized recreational use has increased its revenues. The guy selling weed on the street is still committing a crime because he's an unregistered/unlicensed dealer. No different than someone selling you a six pack of beer from his basement or a carton of cigarettes. Legalization also means government guidelines on safety and distribution.
No country has gotten worse after legalizing cannabis. And legalizing it means it can be studied more thoroughly and new medicines can be made using the chemical compounds in that plant. Part of the reason why we have an opioid crisis is BECAUSE there weren't as many pain relief options.
