This Dunya...and Beyond
Just watched "The Drop" with James Gandolfini last night. :tu::tu: If you like 70's gritty crime dramas like "Friends of Eddie Coyle" or "Mean Streets", check this one out. This shares some similarities with those classics, but has it's own original angle, and more tension/suspense. Strong recommendation.

Yeah, I caught it on HBO a few weeks ago. Underrated flick and Hardy was great in it.

Incredible film, its in my top 10. There are a few scenes in it that are the most well acted/directed Ive seen in a LONG time, used them as references on my last film...

The subtlety of this scene is :wow:, especially when you realize what Bob is trying his hardest NOT to revert back to...


On the Waterfront clearly was an influence...
