Him shytting on Philly as he was "bombing" might have been the greatest thing in comedy in the last ten years. SMH @ guys like Daniel Tosh getting the mainstream spot while Burr and Holcomb are in relative obscurity.

i'd prefer standup w/ burr or holcomb, but tosh is mainstream because he's genuinely more likeable and comes across less vitriolic than the other two. he seems playful and they just seem mean or bitter about life. those two also seem way less likely to give in or kiss *** to have a shot at success..
but i prefer holcomb/burr

like the show and stuff, Tosh shines. but as a standup comedian...on stage...telling jokes, I'd take burr over him. c hulk too.

Tosh is more "accessible" in his comedy, that's about it. Tosh isn't even that much funnier than Joel McHale.
Listen to Bill Burr's podcasts, he's naturally funny as hell.
Dude's sports rants are comedy, without that show Tosh is nothing, dude is just a professional Youtube troll.

well yeah tosh is more charismatic which is why he's in the position he's in. patrice o'neal and bill burr have a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot before their shyt really pops off. hence them always sounding bitter. they are way better comedians than daniel tosh but i'm not surprised why he's more popular.
come on, Tosh's interactions with his guests aren't funny? like when people do web redemption and he's kicking back with them, just doing and sayin silly shyt. that ain't genuinely funny?
I honestly don't think Burr would be as funny in the same setting. Don't get me wrong brehs, I already stated that Burr is a funnier standup comedian. I don't even think Tosh's standup is funny at all. I tried to watch some of his last special and ended up turning it off within the first few minutes.

bill burr definitely wouldn't be funny in that setting in my opinion because i feel he genuinely hates people lol. tosh works well in those scenarios but let's be real, web redemption is the weakest part of the show. he works best making jokes that shock people during the clips at the beginning. everything else is hit or miss.
