He had a very smug European ("Very European")gimmick. Had a catchphrase - "HEY!" that I think could easily get over in the WWE. They try to make him too serious and rigid, dude is more sarcastic and shyt from what I've seen in out of character interviews.

You do know that Khali's only about 340-350 legit nowadays, right? He already lifted that when he used the Neutralizer on Brodus (twice!).
The bigger problem is: How the hell is Cesaro supposed to hit the neutralizer on someone that can't physically bend his knees?
Wasn't a big fan of the WWE version of his character when he started out, but he has slowly grown on me. He has a lot of untapped potential and a very versatile move set. I could see him eventually becoming a big time star.

He's much more natural as a face with comedic moments, but WWE wanted to see just how flexible he was, I guess.
