They messed up that scene in the bar though. All of them ignoring the blonde isn't a Nash equilibrium, because one of the players would unilaterally go after the hottest girl if he knew that the rest of them were going after the brunettes.
It's a very well done drama (acting, cinematography, script, etc) but has the added layer of the main character being a
schizophrenic. He starts out as a young, brilliant, confident mathematician, marries a beautiful wife, etc. But his schizophrenia slowly begins to takeover his life, until he begins to believe that he is apart of some sort of cold-war era, secret government agency, meant to decipher soviet codes being left in American newspapers.
Good performances and a well made movie but alot of it was historically inacurrate... not that I care, just some people like pointing things like this out and I just wanna be the first.
I been sayin it for the longest... Crowe got soft after he stopped wildin out, getting into bar fights, etc. and basically calmed himself... He lost that edge to him that he would incorporate into his performances.
