It wasn't bad but its not for everyone. Its one of them movies where you gotta watch a few time to see all the subtleties.

When I read about the souls I was like :ohhh:

Yeah there were good souls, neutral souls, and bad souls.

I was reading some shyt on imdb boards and they were talking about how Tom Hanks was always a bad soul until he met Halle Berry's soul. Or about how Agent Smith was always the bad soul in every storyline and he was always the one rejecting change and wanting things to stay as is.

do some googling. It will have you look at the movie differently.

I think that is what I need to do. Read an interpretation.

It did get good about 70 mins in.

I just felt as though the message or theme wasnt clear enough to the viewer

I can't find it but some cat wrote up a good explanation about how Tom Hanks soul was always selfish and conniving until he met his soulmate Halle Berry.

In the old days he's poisoning dude, then he's working for an evil company with no remorse until he meets Halle Berry and wants to change but its too late he blows up, then he's that a$$hole who tosses the guy over the balcony BUT before he does that he glances at Halle at the party briefly and doubts his next actions but goes thru with it anyway... and finally in the most futuristic timeline he helps her out and they end up married with kids.

Not perfect but overall a worthwhile movie experience. The attempt at something epic/original I respect. They pretty much pull it off, it just isn't as :ohhh: as you expect. But the movie is charming and the theme is something I definitely believe.

question?
What connected the 1970s nuclear plant espionage story to the 2012 book publisher's trapped in a home story?

props for that, but it still doesnt make sense if his soul is supposed to be in progression

there is supposed to be a progression. Also remember the goons were sent out for Cavendish at that time too.

Also that timeline ignores Susan Surandon's, Keith David's, and Jim Broadbent's characters.
